Are you eligible for a JIFLA loan? If you can answer “yes” to these statements, you might be eligible for a JIFLA loan. I am Jewish. I am 18 years old or older. I’ve been a resident of Georgia for at least the past 12 months. I’m a U.S. citizen or legal resident. I will be able to repay a loan. I’m not in or considering bankruptcy. I have references and guarantors. 1 GET PRE-QUALIFIED Once you submit and receive confirmation of this pre-qualification survey, you will receive detailed instructions about how to complete the application process. Pre-Qualification Survey 2 RECEIVE & COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION After you submit the pre-approval survey and are approved, we will contact you with instructions for the application. 3 GUARANTOR & CHARACTER REFERENCES Some types of loans require a guarantor and others require a character reference. Our staff will let you know what is needed for your particular loan type. A guarantor is usually a close friend or relative. While the borrower makes monthly payments, the guarantors will be responsible for repaying the loan if the borrower’s payments are not made. For loans of $1,000 or less, a guarantor may not be required 4 APPLICATION REVIEW Our Loan Manager will reach out to you for any additional information or follow up questions. Confidentiality is strictly maintained through all steps of your application process. 5 MEET WITH US An important part of our process is meeting our borrowers. We will arrange for you to meet (virtually or in person) with a representative of our loan committee. You will hear from us about your loan status within 2-3 business days after our meeting. 6 APPROVAL & ACCEPTANCE JIFLA’s Loan Manager will contact you with your loan approval and repayment details. 7 NEXT STEPS We will send you a Promissory Note and a Bank Account Debit Authorization Form to execute. Upon signing the documents we will deposit the loan amount into your account or to your designated creditors and schedule your monthly payments. We will also notify your guarantors of your acceptance and the loan terms.
